Salvador Dalí ed Elsa Schiaparelli together again for a new retrospective

The relation between fashion and art is a long-standing successful union. It's hard to determine the exact moment in which, for the first time, these two arts met and started to team up to beautiful create art works. Certainly one of the most important moments during this creative partnership is the collaboration, but also friendship, between the Italian fashion designer Elsa Schiaparelli and the surrealist artist Salvador Dalí. The exhibition Imagination and Daring: Dalí and Schiaparelli at the Dalí Museum explores the creative realation between these two artists, which together have been able to interpret the reality of their time, including all its contradictions, with sense of humor and surreal fantasies.
The Italian haute-couturier's groundbreaking dresses joins the Dalí's surrealist spirit in this exhibition, that will be open from next October 18 to January 14 2018.
